Biography

As Global Special Projects Lead at Teach For All, Diane leads on high impact priorities for the organization. Diane is currently leading on the external strategy to grow the network in Africa and works to build global partnerships to develop globally informed student visions.

Diane began her career in education as a first-grade bilingual teacher through the Teach For America program in Los Angeles in 1994. She taught for four years before assuming senior leadership roles in national and global education non-profits like Teach For America and Global Nomads Group.

Diane was born on the island of Jamaica, grew up in Brooklyn, New York and has spent over 20 years at the forefront of education change in the United States and globally. She is committed to seeing students from low-income communities achieve their full potential through her work at Teach For All and through the work she does as an educational consultant and coach. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Vassar College, a Master of Arts in multicultural education from California State University and a Doctor of Education Leadership (Ed.L.D) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Diane is also a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
