Dicky Sofjan

Biography

Dicky Sofjan is an Associate Professor in the Indonesian Consortium for Religious Studies (ICRS), based in the Graduate School of Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. His teaching and research interests include: religion and politics, ethics, spirituality and sustainability, which are published in many international journals and publishers. Dr. Sofjan is a recipient of many grants from the Ford Foundation, Templeton Foundation, Henry Luce Foundation, Nippon Foundation, International Partnership for Religion and Sustainable Development (PaRD), European Union, British FCDO, US State Department, UNDP, MCC, Cordaid, etc. He is currently the CEO of Nglanggeran Eco-Village in Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta, and is serving as the Vice President of Globethics based in Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Sofjan is also a member of the Educational Exchange Committee (EEC) of the AMINEF/Fulbright program in Indonesia for more than 12 years. He can be contacted at: dickysofjan@ugm.ac.id
