Dr Dima Saber is the Chief Program Officer at Meedan, a 2024 Skoll awardee. She has been running, since 2013, Meedan's community impact programs in over 45 countries across the Larger World, working with independent media organizations, women-led groups and human rights activists to enable communities — especially those that have been historically underserved — to access the information they need in moments of exception, like elections, public health crises, and natural disasters. Dima is also a writer and researcher on media depictions of conflict and on the role of archival records in identity building processes, focusing primarily on post-revolution and conflict countries such as Lebanon, Syria and Palestine.
