Dorcas Owinoh is a trailblazer in Africa’s tech and innovation ecosystem, known for her leadership, resilience, and commitment to empowering youth and women. With over ten years of experience, she has transformed challenges into opportunities, earning accolades like Forbes 30 Under 30 Top 40 Under 40 Women in Kenya, and a Sakharov Peace Prize nomination**.

As Co-founder & Executive Director of Lakehub, Dorcas has expanded access to technology and entrepreneurship in western Kenya, enabling thousands to gain market-relevant skills. Under her leadership, Lakehub now holds over 70% of the regional market share.

She also leads Zone01 Kisumu, a digital skills program that attracted over 17,000 applicants in one year. Through partnerships with the County Government of Kisumu and global tech firms, the program connects young talent with mentorship, career opportunities, and the global job market
