Doug is on a mission to drive positive change in the world. As the co-founder & CEO of Rippleworks, a foundation dedicated to providing practical support that social ventures need to thrive and make a real impact. Through customized projects, leadership workshops, & access to flexible funding, Rippleworks empowers scaling social ventures to overcome challenges & enhance the lives of communities worldwide. Since 2015, Rippleworks has completed 391 projects in 90 countries, served 1,600+ leaders via Leaders Studio, & deployed $250 million in capital. We hope that our support & investment can propel them further on their journey to make the planet healthier & its people better off. Before diving into social entrepreneurship, Doug has been a part of founding teams or early-stage leadership of venture-back consumer-tech ventures, such as Shutterfly, Shopkick, eBay & E-LOAN. With a knack for spotting potential & a passion for innovation, Doug has left his mark on the tech landscape.
