Biography

Duy Nguyen, MD (he/they) is a health justice and human rights advocate. Duy works as a Program Officer at iSEE Institute, implementing programs that concern civic engagement, human rights education, and minorities’ rights. Duy has also founded many youth organizations and projects, notably mentioning Health Alliance for Diversity, Equity and inclUSion (HADEUS) - an initiative that centers young people’s roles in promoting health equity, and Network Of Health Students Vietnam (NOHS Vietnam) - a not-for-profit that advocates for health students’ voice in the health sector. Their credits as facilitator and/or delegate include several events at national, regional, and international levels: Vietnam Youth Parliament 2018-2019, Room XX & Room XX Debate (UNDP Vietnam), Youth-led Action Initiative (UNICEF EAPRO & UNICEF Vietnam), One Young World - Montreal 2024,... Besides, Duy is an ELC (Experiential Learning Cycle) practitioner who loves learning new things and sharing stories.
