Ebrima Saidy is the Chief Executive Officer of Blue Ventures, a leading organisation working to restore the world's oceans and improve the livelihoods of fishing communities. With 25 years of experience in humanitarian and development work, Ebrima has a wealth of expertise in impact-focused, rights based community-driven programming, from start up, to growth and exit. Previously, he held key leadership roles at Save the Children International as global Chief Impact Officer driving positive change in over 100 countries. Ebrima grew up in a small coastal fishing village in The Gambia. He is passionate about the intersection of ocean conservation and human rights, and is committed to leading Blue Ventures in its mission to create a thriving future for both the ocean and the people who depend on it.
