CorrespondentCS Monitor
Elisabeth Braw is a London-based correspondent for the CS Monitor, which she joined from Newsweek. Prior to that, she was a visiting fellow at the University of Oxford. She also writes for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy and the World Affairs Journal, and about music for The Economist. Prior to her London posting, Elisabeth reported from San Francisco and Washington, DC. Elisabeth is Swedish, received her university education in Germany, from where she still reports, and has also lived in Rome, Italy.
In her spare time, Elisabeth is an avid choral singer and is enthusiastically trying to improve her Latin skills. Elisabeth married to Jeffrey Smith, an organist, and has two children.
