Biography

With 19 years of experience working on gender and women's empowerment, I am a human rights activist. A master's degree candidate in sustainable development from the University of Makeni, with a focus on social sustainability with a particular emphasis on gender and climate change. I have a diploma in development communication and a bachelor's degree in development studies from the University of Makeni. As one of WOFHRAD's Strategic Pillars, I am a part of the Climate Change Network in Sierra Leone. I currently hold the positions of vice chairperson for the Women Peace and Security Focused Coalition in Sierra Leone and chairman of the board for the West Africa Network on Peace Building (WANEP). As supporters of the Yellow Ribbon Campaign and gender equality, we help the passing of the Gender Equality and Women Empowerment (GEWE) Bill
