Biography
Erika is President of Horizon 2045, a multi-stakeholder initiative reimagining systems of human and planetary security in an era of interconnected global threats. She co-leads Women Transforming Global Security with The Elders’ Mary Robinson and Helen Clark and Emma Belcher of Ploughshares. This network of international women leaders is pioneering integrated approaches to climate, public health, AI, nuclear weapons, human rights, and democracy.
Previously, Erika was Managing Director of N Square, where she led a collaborative of major foundations including MacArthur, Skoll, Hewlett, Ploughshares, and Carnegie Corporation. She brings decades of experience in strategic foresight, organizational development and high stakes facilitation to her work with partners in philanthropy and civil society. Her TED Talk on cross-disciplinary approaches to ending nuclear threats has been viewed over 1 million times and translated into 21 languages.
