Eshanthi Ranasinghe

Biography

Eshanthi Ranasinghe is Managing Director of Discovery & Insight at The Audacious Project, where she leads the team’s work identifying and cultivating a pipeline of bold leaders and ideas that have the potential to change the world. Prior to Audacious, Eshanthi was Director of Exploration & Future Sensing at Omidyar Network, where she used foresight and diverse networks to anticipate change, identify blind spots and experiment in emergent areas of impact, including responsible technology, digital identity, mutual aid infrastructure, and more. Eshanthi has worked on early social ventures throughout South Asia and spent several years in management consulting at the Boston Consulting Group. Eshanthi holds an MBA and an MS (School of Environment and Sustainability) from the University of Michigan, and a BS/BA from UNC-Chapel Hill. In her spare time, Eshanthi chases her two kids around San Francisco and consumes an unhealthy amount of crime fiction.
