Biography

Lawyer, Ph.D. in Political and Environmental Science (PROCAM/USP)

Currently serving as Executive Director at Conexsus – Conexões Sustentáveis. Former Director of the Forest Department at the Brazilian Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change, leading initiatives on native vegetation recovery and forest management.

With over 20 years of leadership experience in the forestry sector, previously held roles such as: Director of Forests, Land Use, and Agriculture at WRI Brazil
Latin America Director at the Tropical Forest Alliance (TFA), hosted by the World Economic Forum, working on zero-deforestation commodity supply chains; Executive Director at FSC Brazil – Forest Stewardship Council.

Earlier in her career, worked in solidarity economy and fair trade at organizations like FACES do Brasil and Instituto Kairós.
