Francesca DeMarco is Program Director for The Pathway Foundation in Lugano, Switzerland, a grantmaking family foundation which seeks to improve people’s lives in the developing world by supporting established organizations with a proven track record in health, education and the environment.
A native of Southern California and currently living in Milan, Francesca previously spent more than 20 years in educational fundraising, most recently as Head of Fundraising at Bocconi University in Milan and before that as Assistant Dean for Development and Alumni Relations at the USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism. She holds a Master’s degree in Italian from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the College of William & Mary.
