Gannon joined Tostan in 2004 as a volunteer in Dakar, Senegal. He has since played a variety of roles across the organization, including Director of Strategic Development, Chief of Staff, and his current consulting role as Special Advisor to the CEO, where he contributes to strategy and thought leadership. Gannon has a BA in Creative Writing from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He has been a writing consultant to UNICEF NY and a guest lecturer for several leading universities.
