Biography
Garrett Neiman is a co-founder of the Perennial Sunflower Project, a field building nonprofit that is supporting and strengthening the emerging movement of white men who are working to advance equity. Previously, Garrett co-founded CollegeSpring, a national college prep nonprofit that has been recognized by the Obama White House. He also co-created Liberation Ventures, a field building nonprofit that is nurturing a culture of repair and has distributed $6 million to racial repair nonprofits. In 2023, Hachette published Garrett's first book, Rich White Men, which NPR Books praised for its direct yet compassionate take on how the most privileged can share power and why that benefits all of us. Garrett has a BA in Economics from Stanford, where he is teaching a new course on the role of elites in advancing social justice, and an MPP-MBA from Harvard.
