Gaurav is the Global Managing Partner of Dalberg Advisors. In this role, he sets the firm’s direction and oversees activities across offices worldwide. He previously led Dalberg’s global Impact Measurement and Climate and Energy practices. Gaurav founded Dalberg’s first Asia Pacific office in Mumbai in 2009 and led the region’s growth through 2022, expanding to seven offices and more than 160 staff. As part of his work, he helps clients apply digital technologies and AI to address complex societal challenges, from mapping how digital platforms can increase financial inclusion to exploring how AI can improve efficiency in measurement and learning (MEL) for investors and development org. Beyond his advisory work, Gaurav sits on the boards of Educate Girls. He holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford University and a postgraduate degree in Development Economics from Yale University. He was also a Fairfax Scholar at the United World College Hong Kong
