George Constantinescu

Biography

George Constantinescu is Executive Vice President & Chief Transformation Officer with ATCO and Canadian Utilities Limited. In this role, Mr. Constantinescu is responsible for leading transformation initiatives that enable innovation and growth across the enterprise and advancing new commercial initiatives around the world.
Mr. Constantinescu first joined ATCO in 1986 and played a pivotal role in establishing ATCO’s international electricity generation operations in Australia, as well as evaluating opportunities both in the United Kingdom and the United States. He was an instrumental member of the team that successfully led the strategic divestiture of ATCO’s retail energy operations. Mr. Constantinescu graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer with APEGA. He holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is Chairman Emeritus of OGEO Limited and ORTHOSHOP Geomatics.
