Habiba Malumfashi

Biography

Habiba Malumfashi is the Programs Officer at the Open Arts Development Foundation. Passionate about fostering creativity, she manages the Open Arts Space, a vibrant community-based arts center that serves as a hub for artists and creatives. She leads open arts programs; the Curator in Space and Emerging Artists Series where she has showcased the exceptional work of local talent, providing vital exposure and real-world experience within the arts and creative industry for emerging artists and curators.

With expertise in project management, fundraising, grant writing, and coordination, she continues to drive meaningful change through the arts.
She is a 2023 creativity pioneer with the Moleskine foundation and part of the first cohort of the Archiving fellowship program.
