Hakim Khelifa

Biography

Hakim Khelifa is Senior Partner and member of the Executive Committee at AfricInvest. Hakim has over 25 years of experience in private equity in Africa including sourcing, negotiating, structuring and executing private equity transactions in Northern and Sub-Saharan Africa. Hakim led the development of AfricInvest in Sub-Saharan Africa since 2004, focusing first on West Africa prior to expanding AfricInvest to other regions. Hakim sits on the board of many current AfricInvest portfolio companies. He also led the fund raising of four AfricInvest funds since 2004. Hakim is currently heading an impacting investing initiative at AfricInvest focusing on Climate Resilience. Hakim is a graduate of the engineering school Mines ParisTech, France. Hakim served on the board of the Africa Venture Capital Association.
