Biography
Jake Matilsky is the founding director of the Center for Secure and Modern Elections (CSME), a multi-state project that advises and funds state-led efforts to create more efficient and secure voting systems. Over the past nine years, CSME has supported initiatives across the country including automatic voter registration in states like West Virginia, Utah, Alaska, Nevada, and Washington. CSME also works to support states in the implementation processes of those initiatives in an effort to assist election administrators across the country. Jake lives in Montana and enjoys fly fishing, cooking, hiking, and snowboarding. He holds a B.A. in international relations from Columbia University.
