James serves as an Analyst for the Skoll Foundation’s Portfolio & Investment team. As an Analyst, James is responsible for the sourcing and selecting of strategically aligned investments for the Skoll Foundation’s portfolio. Prior to joining Skoll, James worked in venture capital, where he analyzed venture-backed solutions for closing America’s racial wealth gap.
James holds a JD and MBA from Golden Gate University and BAs in Government and History from The College of William & Mary. James is a Ghanaian native who lived up and down the United States east coast before settling in San Francisco. Outside of work, James enjoys exploring nature, reading, and discovering new music.
