Biography
Joanne Manrique currently serves as the President of the Center for Global Health and Development (CGHD) and co-Chair of The Women’s Health and Economic Empowerment Network (WHEN). CGHD brings together leaders from global health, investment, and diplomatic communities to address the significant gap between current funding streams and global development needs. During her tenure at the Center, she has worked with G7 governments, development banks, private equity firms and women philanthropists to structure and deploy over a billion dollars in financing across Africa, Latin America and South East Asia.
Throughout her career Ms. Manrique has served as a foreign policy advisor to multiple heads of governments, UN agencies and corporations.
