Kate Foley

Biography

Kate has over twenty years' experience working in higher education sector in development, fundraising, alumni and supporter engagement. Kate has held leadership roles at the universities of Exeter and Aberdeen and was previously Director of Development and Alumni Relations at St Hugh's College, Oxford and Worcester College, Oxford, where she was a Governing Body Fellow. Kate has led teams to successfully deliver multi-million pound global fundraising campaigns.

In 2022, Kate took up the position of Director of Development and Alumni Relations at Oxford Said where she leads the Development and Alumni Relations team. The team's remit includes nurturing lifelong mutually supportive relationships between alumni, supporters and the School and also to connect donors with impactful projects e.g. from supporting world-leading research, to establishing scholarships to enable students with the most academic potential to take up their place at University.
