Biography

Kelo is a Johannesburg-based development practitioner, community leader, and mother, with a career spanning finance, entrepreneurship, and social impact. She currently serve as the Country Director of CorpsAfrica South Africa, where she lead a national volunteer program supporting young South Africans to serve in rural communities and drive locally led development.

She is also the co-founder of KuMo&Co. The company empowers executives, entrepreneurs, and activists through strategic communication and leadership coaching. Kelo has been the curator and licensee of TEDxJohannesburg since 2009, and has supported the growth of TEDx platforms across Southern Africa, often representing the region within the global TED community.
Her work sits at the intersection of development, entrepreneurship, and ideas, with a consistent focus on empowerment, community-led solutions, and meaningful social change
