Kevin Tan

Biography

Kevin founded Tri-Sector Associates out of a deep belief that the public, private, and people sectors working together in new ways can unlock solutions for emerging issues throughout Asia.

Tri-Sector is a non-profit intermediary supported by the Temasek Trust which has supported the development of the cross-sector collaboration ecosystem and helped launch pioneering projects throughout East and Southeast Asia. These include the first Pay For Success (PFS) projects in Singapore and Hong Kong, as well as a blended finance fund for conservation in Indonesia. Tri-Sector has also helped develop new models tailored to the Asian context, such as the Social Impact Guarantee and Outcomes Amplifier, and their work have been featured in Stanford Social Innovation Review, Forbes, and the Business Times.

He previously served in the Boston office of Third Sector Capital Partners, where he helped launch some of the first PFS projects in the US.
