Biography
Dr. Khazana Sihwaya is an inspiring bilingual Zambian medical doctor fluent in Mandarin and English, dedicated to transforming maternal and neonatal health through nutrition. As the founder and executive director of the 2030 Nutrition Project, established during her medical school years, she focuses on combating malnutrition—especially during the crucial first 1,000 days of life.
Since its launch in 2020, the project has positively impacted over 5,000 children and more than 1,000 lactating and expecting women in Lusaka, Zambia. Dr. Sihwaya has forged valuable partnerships with prominent organizations, including the U.S. State Department and One Young World, to expand the initiative's reach.
