Biography

Kristy is from Perth, Australia. Kristy worked at Women’s Health and Family Services, a not-for-profit organization focused on supporting socio-economically disadvantaged and marginalized women and families. During her time there she expanded the nutrition program, launched and developed a new low-cost dietetic service, established the Community Nutrition Network for multi-sectoral collaboration and helped to pioneer vocational leadership development and nutrition courses.

Kristy completed a Bachelor of Science in nutrition science and then a postgraduate diploma in dietetics at Curtin University. Kristy completed her graduate diploma in international health at Curtin University, in order to pursue her passion for global health and international nutrition. Kristy regularly volunteers through her local church. In her free time, she loves to be outdoors and enjoys kickboxing, participating in short triathlons, and doing yoga.
