Biography

Lawrence is an innovative Organic Farmer and visionary Entrepreneur dedicated to transforming agriculture in Nigeria. As the Founder of Springboard Farmers’ Co-op, he is spearheading a movement to build the nation’s largest network of thriving small-scale farmers. With Springboard, which currently works with over 7,000 farmers across 100 communities, Lawrence champions sustainable agriculture, producing high-quality cacao, plantain, and edible cricket insects. His co-op not only ensures fair prices and premiums but also empowers farmers through shared ownership of factories creating TIWA Chocolates, nutritious chips, and protein bread. As an Ashoka Fellow and Mandela Washington Fellow, Lawrence envisions a future where rural farmers thrive in prosperity and sustainability.
