Biography
Leonardo Letelier has more than 20 years of experience in business, finance and the social sector. He was director of the Economic Citizenship for All initiative at Ashoka and worked at McKinsey for 8 years. Previously he had experience with derivatives and at CADE, the Brazilian antitrust body. He was elected Senior Fellow Synergos and Responsible Leader BMW Foundation. Leonardo is recognized as one of the pioneers in the Social Finance and Impact Investment scene, globally and in Brazil, having served as co-executive director of the Brazilian Social Finance Task Force and as a frequent speaker at forums such as SOCAP, FLII and the Brazilian Forum of Social Finance and Impact Business. He is also the founder of the first multi-cause Endowment Fund Management Organization, Endowments do Brasil. In 2021, he was elected Social Entrepreneur of the Year, by Folha de S.Paulo and Schwab Foundation. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and an Industrial Engineer degree from USP.
