Biography
Lindsey Powers joined the Skoll Foundation in 2011 and currently serves as Senior Program Manager for Global Partnerships. In this role, Lindsey cultivates and implements mutually beneficial strategic relationships to advance the Skoll Foundation mission and serve Skoll's community of social entrepreneurs.
Lindsey began her career at Starcom Worldwide, the marketing and media arm of the advertising agency, Leo Burnett. There she managed the communications strategies and investments for multiple high-profile consumer brands. After deciding to shift focus to the nonprofit sector, Lindsey worked in development at a number of Chicago-area nonprofits, where she planned and executed fundraising campaigns to magnify the reach and impact of the organizations’ initiatives.
Lindsey received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
