Biography
Lise is a founding member of the Board of Directors for Healthy Learners and has served as Chairperson since 2019. A general pediatrician by training, she earned her A.B. in Health and Society at Brown University and her M.D. at Harvard Medical School. She completed her pediatric residency and chief residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. After a decade in primary pediatric care, she has worked as a newborn hospitalist at Brigham and Women's Hospital since 2001, serving as Director of Well Newborn Care from 2001 to 2018. Lise is the Director of the Brazelton Institute at Boston Children's Hospital and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Her research and teaching interests focus on understanding newborn behavior and supporting early infant-parent relationships.
