Lonnie Hackett is the CEO and Co-Founder of Healthy Learners, which he started in 2014 with Ignicious Bulongo. Healthy Learners partners with the Zambian government to improve collaboration between health and education. It makes schools an access point for children’s healthcare, helping them better care for students’ overall wellbeing. The program has grown from a pilot in Lusaka to a nationally adopted model reaching nearly 1.5 million students, with plans to replicate in new countries. Lonnie studied at Bowdoin College and the University of Oxford.
