Biography
Lori Cashman is the founder of Visible Ventures, an early-stage firm addressing challenging societal issues around physical, mental, financial & overall wellness, equity, and education. She is passionate about transformational, mission-driven ventures building solutions for unmet needs or overlooked consumers.
Lori contributes to Fast Company, Forbes, & Tech Crunch. She was named to Worth Magazine’s “Worthy 100” Celebrating Changemakers in 2024, Forbes’ List of 10 Investors who are committed to funding female founders, the Boston Business Journal Power 50, and a Duke Alumni Leadership Award for embodying the spirit of the Duke ideal of knowledge in service to society.
Lori’s is Chair of the Duke Board of Visitors for the Sanford School of Public Policy, the Duke Campaign Advocates Board for Financial Aid, and is a trustee of the Noble & Greenough School. Lori launched the Boston Duke Women’s Forum, growing it to a membership of 3,000. She is a Certified Executive Coach.
