Biography
Dr. Louise Gresham is a consulting epidemiologist with senior leadership experience across government and non-profit sectors, specializing in infectious disease surveillance and laboratory capacity strengthening in conflict-affected settings. At the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI), chaired by Senator Sam Nunn and Ted Turner, she served as Director of the Biologics Program, designing and advising regional surveillance networks in the Middle East, the Mekong Basin, and sub-Saharan Africa. She was a member of the delegation that established the first modern tuberculosis laboratory in the DPRK. As President and CEO of the Mérieux Foundation USA, Dr. Gresham led a global portfolio focused on improving epidemic diagnostic capacity. She began her career as Senior Epidemiologist with San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency and holds an adjunct faculty appointment School of Public Health, San Diego.
