Lucy Minayo

Biography

Lucy Minayo is a seasoned feminist human rights lawyer with over 20 years of impactful experience in the development sector. Her journey in the field has seen her contribute significantly to organizations such as Path, Hivos, the Center for Reproductive Rights, Ipas Africa Alliance, the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, the African Union, and the Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA Kenya). She is a co-CEO at AMPLIFY Girls, an organization whose mission is to amplify the voices, work, and impact of community-driven organizations investing in the agency of adolescent girls. Lucy co-leads the organization's strategies which include providing partners with world-class research tools, collaborative capacity-building opportunities, and advocacy that puts them in a seat at the decision-making tables that have historically excluded them. She is based in Nairobi and enjoys mentoring young female professionals.
