Madji Sock

Biography

Madji Sock is the Managing Director of Haskè Group. As a strategy consultant, she developed Senegal's policy documents in industrialization, research and innovation, and rapid entrepreneurship. Madji is also co-founder of Haskè Ventures, a venture studio, since September 2021. Through Haskè Ventures, she has created companies in the health sector, agribusiness, and construction materials, among others. Madji is the founder of Desk SARL, which manages the Layu Café and Yeksil Café brands in Senegal. Through Desk, she wishes to demonstrate the ability to create strong, multi-country African brands. She is co-founder of the Women’s Investment Club (WIC) in Senegal. She strongly believes that women must be supported in their entrepreneurial journeys through mechanisms dedicated to their needs. She set up TAARAL, a multi-stakeholder initiative which aims to create a circular economy around plastic in Senegal. Madji holds an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird.
