Biography

Margaret is President and CEO of Hopelab, a social innovation lab and impact investor working to support the mental well-being of teens and young adults, especially BIPOC and LGBTQ+ young people. Hopelab works at the intersection of tech and mental health alongside entrepreneurs, funders, researchers, and young leaders to create systems change and build a thriving future for underserved young people. Prior to Hopelab, Margaret launched the Innovations for the Underserved program and a mission investment fund at the California HealthCare Foundation. She has also held positions at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Accenture, and the World Health Organization's Global Programme on AIDS. Margaret teaches entrepreneurship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, sits on the boards of Health Leads, United States of Care and Project Glimmer, and is an adviser to Town Hall Ventures, Galileo, Hazel Health and several other early stage health services and tech ventures.
