Gloria Diez

Biography

In her role at the Global Alliance of Territorial Communities (GATC), Gloria Diez is a member of the Secretariat and provides technical support to the Women's Movement. She works closely with Indigenous Peoples and local communities to strengthen organizations on the ground and amplify local voices in global climate and biodiversity negotiations. She focuses on ensuring Indigenous and local women have equitable representation, access to resources, and decision-making spaces while advocating for solutions driven by their unique perspectives to advance climate action, protect biodiversity, and uphold land governance rights.
