Biography

Mariano De Donatis is the Global Chief Program Officer at Health Care Without Harm (HCWH) which is an international environmental and health network organization.
Mariano plays a leadership role in the organizational and strategic development of the network. He has more than 20 years of experience working with civil society networks and coalitions to influence change at the national and global level. Before joining HCWH, he worked at Oxfam, CIVICUS and other civic networks.
Mariano is passionate about multistakeholders initiatives that can catalyze transformational system change. He strongly believes that the health care sector and health professionals in particular, have a key leadership role to play in a just transition to a healthier, more equitable, and resilient future.
Mariano graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with a MSc in Social Policy and Development. He received a bachelor degree of Economics from Universidad de Buenos Aires.
