Biography

Marisa Baldoz Matz, M.A., is a leadership consultant and facilitator with 20+ years of experience helping individuals and organizations achieve their full potential. As Founder of Matz Learning Solutions, she designs leadership programs for newly promoted managers, aligning them with organizational goals. Marisa also founded Rising Legacy, a platform empowering multicultural women to leverage their cultural identities as unique leadership strengths. Her corporate roles include leadership development at Hyundai Capital America and AAA, where she earned the Most Dynamic Instructor Award. A lifelong learner, Marisa holds a master’s in Leadership from Saint Mary’s College and certifications in DEI, Blanchard®, and Franklin Covey. Based in San Diego, she inspires inclusive leadership through workshops and mentoring while balancing her love for hiking and yoga.
