Mark Berryman is a Partner and Investment Committee member at Capricorn Investment Group, bringing over 25 years of experience in investment advisory, impact investing, and emerging markets finance. He previously led Caprock’s impact and sustainable investing platform and served on its Investment Committee. Mark is an Adjunct Professor of Impact Investing at Columbia Business School, inaugural Chairman of the Impact Capital Managers LP Council, and a member of the ImpactAssets 50 Investment Committee. Earlier, he spent a decade with the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) as Lead Investment Officer, investing in financial institutions and funds across emerging markets. He also co-led Deutsche Bank’s Global Social Investment Funds Group and held other roles at the World Bank and eBay. Mark began his career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali. Mark holds an MBA and Master’s in International Affairs from Georgetown University.
