Since 2010, Matthew has worked at the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs (IPE) in Beijing, and currently manages parts of the Green Choice Alliance supply chain program. He helped develop the IPE’s Corporate Information Transparency Index (CITI), which lays out a roadmap that brands can use to help better manage environmental issues in their Chinese supply chains. The CITI is a continuous assessment of brands’ performance and aims to push them to adhere to their CSR commitments and improve the environmental aspects of their supply chain management practices. Through the CITI project Matthew works with brands across a range of sectors, including IT, food and beverage, textiles, automobile and leather.
