A visionary entrepreneur and social impact leader, Melody Murray (Mel), a Presidential Scholar and Summa Cum Laude graduate in Intercultural Studies from John Brown University, has dedicated her career to addressing critical societal challenges through sustainable business solutions. As Partner for Global Community at Praxis, she drives the organization's mission of advancing redemptive entrepreneurship, working to build and strengthen ecosystems that support innovative founders both domestically and internationally.
With two decades of experience in social enterprise and international development, Mel has established herself as a pioneer in creating sustainable employment opportunities in underserved communities. In a bold move that would define her career trajectory, Mel and her husband relocated their family to the Himalayas in Northern India to tackle rural development challenges head-on. There, they co-founded and led multiple ventures, that have been operating for over 15 years.
