Michael Murphy is chief of staff for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan. In this role, he supports foundation efforts to promote thriving children, working families and equitable communities.
Murphy provides leadership of the Office of the President and CEO at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. In partnership with the president and CEO and the executive leadership team, Murphy designs and oversees external relations, key sector engagements, enterprise-wide efforts such as the National Day of Racial Healing, and new initiatives and projects as they are envisioned and created across the foundation. Murphy serves on the executive team responsible for delivering high performance and results in service to the foundation’s mission, vision, values and strategic plan.
Previously, Murphy served as the Vice President for Communications at WKKF, providing strategic counsel to the president and CEO, executive council and staff.
