Milady Garcés Arboleda is an economic and business development leader and the Executive Director of Fundación Margen Colombia. She previously served as Director of the Buenaventura Chamber of Commerce in Colombia. Her work focuses on addressing the historical exclusion of women and Afro-Colombian, Indigenous, and rural communities in the Colombian Pacific from economic and social decision-making. She works to close structural gaps in access to opportunities and to strengthen the participation of these communities in business, commercial, and productive ecosystems, promoting inclusive economic growth. Throughout her career, Milady has designed and implemented programs that foster economic development, innovation, and social entrepreneurship. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Valle, Pacific Campus, and a master’s degree in Governance from ICESI University.
