Biography
Nadine Apelian Dobbs is the Director of Communications for Benetech, a nonprofit that develops and uses technology to create positive social change. For more than a decade, she worked at the intersection of international affairs, policy, and media in major markets including New York, Chicago, and Washington, DC. She was the Assistant Director of Communications at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and later, head of media for Foreign Affairs magazine.
Most recently, Nadine was Senior Manager of Public Affairs at Water.org. Previously she was an independent consultant working with The Chicago Council on Global Affairs on the 2012 NATO Summit; Chicago Ideas Week; news platform Syria Deeply; and FEM Inc., a technology and media venture based in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Nadine graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University and received a Master's in Political Science and International Relations from New York University.
