Nana Yaa Boakyewaa Amoah

Biography

Nana brings 15+ years of experience in youth-centric and gender-lens strategy design. She is a development economist and an astute program management professional in inclusive economic development, and institutional capacity building across sub-Saharan Africa. Her versatile skill set and dedication to driving impactful initiatives targeting women and youth across the economic development landscape in sub-Saharan Africa underscore her academic background with a M.A in International Political Economy (University of Kent) and B.A in Economics (Mount Holyoke College, USA). At AGRA, Nana leads the technical delivery of the Youth Entrepreneurship for the Future of Food and Agriculture partnership with the Mastercard Foundation. She also oversees the strategy development process to provide advisory services to AGRA country teams towards incorporating gender and nutrition-sensitive agriculture into program delivery and interventions.
