Biography

Nick Triantos is a technologist, multi-time entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and philanthropic investor in children's health. Starting his career at Apple, he found his true calling in startups, notably joining NVIDIA in its early days. There, he architected foundational software and built the company's software organization, ultimately becoming its first Chief Software Architect. Nick has worked as a partner at deep tech venture capital firms with over $2B AUM, and has generated significant returns both as a founder/CEO, and an early-stage investor. In 2020, he co-founded NextStep Ventures, pioneering a philanthropic investment model focused on developing treatments for underserved pediatric conditions. While continuing his work with NextStep, Nick returned to NVIDIA in 2022, where he now leads a major software team developing core technology for AI-powered autonomous vehicles. Nick holds a B.S. in Computer Science and dual M.B.A. degrees from UC Berkeley and Columbia University.
