Biography

Nicola Reindorp, CEO of Crisis Action, is a force for global change. For over two decades, she has driven collaboration across civil society to protect civilians from conflict, uniting governments, NGOs, and activists to achieve real-world impact.

Her journey with Crisis Action began in 2006 when she joined the board while leading Oxfam International’s global campaigning on conflict. At Oxfam’s New York office, she played a pivotal role in securing a groundbreaking UN agreement that world leaders have a responsibility to protect populations from genocide and crimes against humanity.

From there, she launched the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect, held key positions at the UN, Oxfam, and the Overseas Development Institute, and advised Avaaz. She has worked across Rwanda, Washington DC, and Oxford, driving strategies that have saved lives and shaped policy.
