Nisha is the President and CEO of EMpower - The Emerging Markets Foundation. A fierce champion for girls and young people, she leads EMpower’s global vision across 15 countries, driving bold growth and deeper impact. EMpower partners with local organisations in emerging market countries, and other change-makers, to enable marginalised young people to transform their lives and communities.
Previously Vice President of Impact & Influence, Nisha has spent over a decade shaping EMpower’s programming, centering youth voice and leadership. She began her career at Deutsche Bank and Barclays in London. A TEDx speaker and board member of Fòs Feminista, she holds a PhD from IIT Delhi, an MSc from the LSE, and a BA from McGill University.
